Our Community Partners

We are delighted to be able to collaborate with Community Groups and have offered our services to a number of worthwhile projects over 2019 and 2020 which have seen the development of new facilities made available to the wider public through a number of schemes.

Our Partners for 2019/2020 are the following projects:

Ballyboro Astro Turf Pitch

A project which commenced in September 2018 between the communities of Lanesboro and Ballyleague under the auspices of Ballyboro Football Club and Longford ETB has seen the raising of significant public and private funding for the development of an Astro Turf Pitch at the rear of Lanesboro Community College.

We were delighted to work with the group to provide legal services in and around the licensing of the pitch from Longford ETB, the project has seen rapid progress culminating in the launch of the new facility to the community. The project is an astounding success and credit to all the hard working member of the committee.

Lough Ree Lanesboro Angling Hub

An exciting project which aims to launch Ireland’s first ever disability friendly access for all fishing boat on Lough Ree, offering people with a physical disability or walking impairment access to fishing facilities on the lake while developing tourism within the local community.

We have partnered with Lough Ree Lanesboro Angling Hub in advising on contracts for the boat construction and negotiating a lease from Waterways Ireland for the establishment of the Hub and look forward to developments in 2020.
